My idea is to be more sustainable not only handpicking products that will enhance your active lifestyle but also making your order as I receive it, stopping the excessive inventory of products that are not selling and only make products that you actually want.
How Toda Boa Activewear Started
Hi, I am Caroline I got into the activewear world after I went to Bikram Yoga teacher training back in 2008, Acapulco, Mexico. Back then I had a vision to create a new activewear line that was comfortable, flattering, vibrant, colorful & perfect for hot yoga. My inspiration to create my line comes from my single mother that used to design, cut & sew clothes in Brasil to support and my sister. I grow up watching my mother sewing day and night and learned doing it on my own. The first Toda Boa designs was created by my mother, in her home garage in San Francisco, California.
I first started selling her leggings and shorts from the trunk of my car to my yoga students after teaching class, it was also a good way to have a second income. My students & employers at the time always give me a lot of support to not give up and keep going after my dream to have my own activewear line.
After a couple of years the brand has expanded and move production to a small manufacture in Salvador, Bahia in Brasil where every piece was handmade by a small family own manufacture.
Toda Boa Active Wear has been sold to many studios & boutiques in the US, Chile, Mexico, Brasil, Australia & Switzerland.
Fun Fact: The name Toda Boa came after a famous Carnaval song that talks about how beautiful every woman is no matter of her size, shape, race, color or nationality. Every woman is Toda Boa.
